I am making this post becuas i have nothing to do in the IT lab.



We're here because we don't have an IT teacher. It turns out that the IT teacher that they tried out on us last week was hired and was supposed to be here.



But she's not. So we're here, suffering very slow internet with half the good websites blocked, with nothing to do. So i decided to wrok on reaching my 12th post, until then will i be able to submit my post to Qwaider Planet.

Please note that there is no specific point in making this post and i made it because of pure boredom and the reasons mentioned above.

It's Raining, Raining

Yesterday, just as we finished school and stepped outside the class having finally finished the geography exam, it started raining. Now for anyone who was fed up of school and just wanted to smell fresh air, the rain is not fun!

So me, Khaled Shareef, and Yazan (my other friend) decided to walk to the little tiny supermarket near the school thinking that the rain wouldn't last long due to the lovely weather we have been having for two weeks. WE THOUGHT WRONG!!!

Just as we stepped outside the perimeters of school, hail the size of eyeballs came down at us, so we thought of going back into the school and directly to the place where we can take the bus home but, again we though: what's the point? We're going to walk through hail anyways so let's just go to the corner shop and then to the buses.

So we were on our way, walking with eyeball-sized pieces of ice being chucked down at us, soaked to our feet, bags heavy, when something frustrating hap penned.

Qais (our other friend) lives by the school at a maximum of a ten-minute walk from school. But, since he is a dallooo3 and the youngest of his siblings, his parents come to pick him up by car, rain or no rain. So as we were walking to the corner shop, Qais drove by in his parents car. So, naturally, me, Khaled, and Yazan started jumping, shouting, signalling, and doing everything we can to get Qais's attention to drop us off to the supermarket. BUT QAIS PRETENDED NOT TO SEE US.

You see Qais is addicted to his Xbox 360 so i guess he was in a hurry to get home and play with it. What kind of a friend is he?!

In picture 1, you can see Khaled Shareef with his hair messed up after failed attempts of trying to squeeze the water out of it (thank god i was wearing a cap so my hair didn't get wet!).

In picture 2, you can see my attempt at proper photography. The picture is a failure but it was the best i could get of the water running down the road which is sloping down. (Don't laugh if you didn't realize that it was water and after all, the 2 mega pixel camera on my cell phone didn't help at all!)

Career Day

Beleive it or not, today was the first day in two year that I had fun in the Islamic Educational College. This is because today was career day.

Career day is an annual activity day in which the school invites people who have different jobs to talk about what they do. They also select different students to be hosts to the guests. The hosts are usually the same people who do the research about the guest and what his job is. Today, I was a host so this gave me special privelages...and nothing is better than showing off your host badge.

I did a research about drugs and drug control and they got this guy from the drug control department to talk about his job. So basically, what i had to do was sit with the guy from the drug control department and ask him a few questions in the middle of a room full of hosts and their people. Since the drug guy came late I only talked to him for 15 minutes and then we had to go to the first presentation he had. At the beginning I have to introduce him and then he talked for such a long time with such a low voice that I almost slept.

The fun thing was that today we had fun.

We missed bilogy and math and arabic and english. And we are going to get credit for what we did. And, above all, we got appreciated for something and we got attention.

We Are What We Eat

Nice pictures. It's cool how the fruits and vegitables fit in with the atmoshephere. Come to think of it, it would be nice to live in such a world.
And as the saying goes: We are what we eat!

A New Eiffel Tower

For celebrating the 120th anniversary of the Eiffel Tower, the French decided to make a platform on top of it where people can stand and look at the beautiful city of Paris.

Cool eh?!

Yet Another Teacher

We havent had IT for a month because our previours IT teacher has health problems. Is it from the marlboro she smokes? Who knows?!

Anyways, today, the school got us a new IT teacher and they were trying her out. So far, the shool has searched all of Jordan for an IT teacher and believe it or not, the old one was actually the best. Yeah I know: Life is full of surprises!

Now each IT teacher is different and the past 2 have, surprisingly been the same. THEY READ FROM THE BOOK!

Let me ask a question: why do u get us an IT teacher that reads from a book while we can do that ourselves? A perfect waste of time.

And that's not all, her voice is soooo low which means we have to strain our ears as hard as we can to listen to what she says. And when we answer her questions, she acts like she understands us but no. She just moves on to the next person.

All in all, she's bad.

Cristiano: Best in the World?

To all soccer fans out there, you probably know that Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portugese soccer player, was the third best player in the world last year after AC Milan's Ricardo Kaka and Barcelona's Lionel Messi.

This year, Kaka is not in his best form and, due to injury, Messi is doing nothing for Barcelona who have made the list of the worst soccer teams in the world, in my opinion.

As for Cristiano Ronaldo...we have seen awsome some awsome diplay from this Portugese superstar. From fast and unstoppable feet to awsomely taken free-kicks from far distances, Cristiano has proved himself worth of the title of the world's best player, taking into consideration what he has done for Manchester United scoring 25 goals in the English Premier League by itself adding up to the total 30 he has scored this season as a mid-fielder which is a record breaking number.

Now it's your say. What do you think of Cristiano Ronaldo's effort this season and do you think he should be named the best soccer player in the world.

REPORT: UNTIED 3 - 0 LIVERPOOL

As you know, one of my hobbies is soccer and that doesnt mean that I just like soccer as a normal person does. I'm literally a soccer freak.

It's as simple as this...Im a soccer freak who over-ratedly like Manchester United.

Every Saturday, or Sunday, or Wednesday is a soccer match and i get psyched on the day of the match. That means i wake up for school with enthusiasm, check the latest soccer news 10 times an hour even though it doesnt really change, and turn on the TV and get ready for the match an hour before it starts.

And you should see me when Manchester United score...YYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH GOOOO UNITED!!!

Once it was late at night and United scored...my dad got mad at me because of the noise i made and he thinks i woke up the neighbours who stay up later than us. I think...

Now yesterday was the Manchester United - Liverpool game and this is a big game for all United fans. Our showtime subscritption was disconnected and as showtime is the only authorized company who broadcasts the game...it was a nightmare.

So we got it working and then...the commentator that was commentating on the match was the suckiest they have. OH NO. But that's not a problem...i'll just see the match without the commentator's stupid comments.

And then, United WON 3 - 0.

Now i need'nt say anymore. Tell me what you think of my addiction.

Chapter 1

Before I start posting I would just like to introduce myself...
My name is khalid and I'm 14 years old, I live in Amman, Jordan and I go to the IEC.
My hobbies are soccer, movies, music and chillin with my friends!!!
My life is pretty boring and there's nothing interesting about it for me to tell you about.
