This is how I got disqualified in today's spelling bee:
Examiner: Spell the word "sacred".
Me: S-A-C-R-E-D
Examiner: What does it mean?
Me: It is something that has a high status and is holy.
Examiner: Use it in a sentence.
Me: The Ka3bah is a sacred monument.
Examiner: (after a few other people had their turns) Khalid, (some other people), you're out.
Me: WHAT?! What was my mistake?
What do you think. Was I right or wrong?
